Online Marketing Attempt

 This week has been a lot crazier. After having officially launched our websites, we have been working hard to get our advertisements up and running. It was really interesting thinking about all of the different keywords that could be used. We had a lot more time to think about it, and we really discussed what makes a good keyword. This was really interesting because it really changed a lot about how I perceived advertisements. I think I never really thought about how effective a single phrase or sentence would be. Seeing as our little investments wouldn't be enough for long commercials, we really have to decide for ourselves what can we do to make the most out of what little money we have. One sentence, that's it. So, the way we use our words changes everything! We need to get the message across, so we need to mean what we say and say what we mean. No lies or exaggerations, just your invitation. Only clear concise words that can get the true meaning across. 

 Well, it's been another week! And this time we have been riding of the rails. We have started tackling the legality of business and tomorrow we are putting the finishing touches on our websites. It's a little bit more surreal now. This week I have been seeing what it takes legally to upload music and where and when you can sell it. I am going to be working long and hard to get this website operational, but for now I think that it will be quite a fun challenge. Just starting things off with Piano sheet music and all of its aspects for now. All websites need to be living growing beings if you want to survive on this planet. For now, Piano music is definitely used by the greatest number of people, So I will be starting from the bottom and working my way up. I plan on adding a suggestions feature, as well as a bookmarking feature to really help find things faster.  This week we focused a lot on the more technical things. We have been diving deeper into the transactional side of websites. We have been learning about the difference between Ecommerce and the way that they function differently from non e-commerce websites. I think it was rather interesting that the e-commerce websites are able to handle the monetary transactions directly. I think that it was really interesting learning about needing to adapt to the sales tax in states. We talked quite a bit in our class forums about the different strategies that would be required for shipping, keeping a good stock, managing the shipping and tracking. I enjoyed it a lot and it gave me a lot of ideas for what I've been thinking about for my ideas for my own website. I have been enjoying the class so far and my ideas about the sheet music website have been flowing.

 This week we have been picking up the pace! The main focus of the week has been preparing us to choose our own internet browsers to begin our preparations for making our own unique websites that will help us begin to make and create our own websites. Knowing which sites, we can use as well as which hosts to support us to help us begin really making this into a functioning business. We spent a lot of time going over that and other things that will helps us really get our websites going. Focusing a lot of time on websites and goals. We also worked a lot on our website ideas, and I think I worked out some really good ideas, although I didn't really have the knowledge or skills to really bring forward. So, in the end, I think I will really work on the sheet music website. There really isn't any of them that I like, so I will do my best to get the best out of it, running adds or selling my own arrangements online.
